He didn't know he was lucky

Eliot Sterling has caught the same commuter train every weekday without fail for years, but inexplicably misses it one morning when it is involved in a horrendous collision that results in numerous fatalities and injuries.

Unwilling to accept that his avoidance of a similar fate is due to luck, Eliot believes it is meant as a wake-up call for him to recalibrate his life and invest it with greater purpose and meaning. His subsequent efforts to change his behaviour and domestic routines catapult him into a series of challenging and absurd situations. They also bring him increasingly into conflict with his wife who wants to leave things as they are.

Will pursuing his aim to change his life and widen his horizons ultimately destroy Eliot's marriage?
